How It Works

They fileWe verifyYou win

What we do every week

1

Every lead starts at a state filing.

TABC or Comptroller, the earliest legal sign one is coming.

2

Only verified new restaurants get through.

Independent operators only. Every one checked against Google: phone, address, hours, reviews, open status.

3

Every one is labeled by how new it is.

Pre-opening Just opened Recently opened Newly establishedSo you know exactly what to expect.

What you get

One email. Every Monday.

Before You Decide

5 questions you should ask me

1

How many leads do I get each week?

Short list on purpose. Some weeks are busier than others.

  • Houston: 5-20
  • Dallas: 5-20
  • Austin: 2-10
  • San Antonio: 2-12
  • All of Texas: 15-60

You always get what’s really opening in your city. Never trust someone who doesn’t tell you this upfront.

2

Is every lead a new restaurant?

Yes, and that’s the part that takes the work. Anyone can pull raw permit data and sell them to you as leads, when most are actually outdated, duplicates, or junk. Every lead you get from us is a verified new opening.

So you can focus on winning. Never pay for junk leads you have to work through.

3

What’s in every lead, and what isn’t?

  • All leads have: name, address, phone, stage
  • Most also have: rating, reviews, hours, website
  • Some will include: owner’s name

You deserve to know what you’re getting. Never pay first and find out later.

4

What if I don’t find it useful, or want to cancel?

Cancel anytime. Not happy? Email me and you get your money back guaranteed.

Come and go as you please. Never get hit with a “non-refundable” warning.

5

Is the price month to month?

Yes. Only $79 a month for your metro, and just $179 for all of Texas. Not per lead, not per list. No hidden fees, ever.

The price you see is the price you pay. Never worry about what you’ll be charged.

Ask these anywhere you’re looking. If you can’t get a straight answer, that’s your answer.

FAQ

Common Questions

Why are the leads at different stages?+

Our verification is strict, and that decides when you see a restaurant. We don't send one until we can confirm it's real. Some we can confirm while they're still in buildout, others not until they've been open a few weeks. Only what we can truly verify gets through, so every list is a mix of stages, each one labeled. Your first few lists are also a catch-up of everything recent in your city, so they run bigger than the weeks that follow.

What kind of restaurants are these?+

Independent operators: sit-down restaurants, bars, cafes, and food-service businesses that need ongoing vendor relationships. We filter out chains, food trucks, and temporary operations, along with anything we can't verify or that's missing solid contact info. What's left are accounts that can turn into recurring revenue.

Where does this data come from?+

Public Texas state records. Every restaurant starts from a filing with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission or the Texas Comptroller. Both are open to anyone. Every filing we pull goes through our verification process. We cross-check the two against each other, verify what we find against Google, so you always get what’s real.

Do my competitors get the same leads?+

Not everyone gets them. I cap how many companies in the same line of work I sell each metro to, because if every pest control company in Houston is calling the same restaurant Monday morning, the list stops working for all of you. It isn't exclusive, and I won't pretend it is. But it isn't sold to everyone either. Vendors in different trades don't compete for the same account, so they don't count against each other.

What cities do you cover?+

We cover Texas's four biggest metros: Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. You pick yours at signup and can switch anytime. If there's another Texas city you'd want covered, email me, and if enough people ask, I'll add it.

Chris Hsieh, founder of Restaurant Signal

My name’s Chris Hsieh, and I built Restaurant Signal here in Austin.

I’ve spent 15 years in the food industry and 7+ in software, so I’ve seen both sides: new restaurants scrambling to get open, and vendors having a hard time even finding out about them. Both sides want each other. There was just no simple way to connect them.

Every Monday, the new restaurants in your city land in your inbox, already verified.

If a lead’s ever off, or there’s something you wish I sent, email me. I read every one. chris@restaurantsignal.com
